2022 is almost here meaning our new year's resolutions are almost here too. Here are some resolutions you should try.

  1. Drinking more water.

Drinking water has proven to help you and your body in many different ways. Such as clearing your skin, hydrating you, encouraging weight loss, helping with headaches and migraines, and improving fatigue. only to name a few.

2. Exercising.

I know what you are all thinking. “but exercise is for weight loss” although exercise benefits you in other ways. When you exercise, your body releases endorphins, endorphins are what make you happy, they lift your mood. So the reason I say exercise is because it leaves you in a better mood and benefits your body. Its a win, win

3. Journalling

Journalling helps you keep yourself organized, sets goals for yourself, allows you to self-reflect, relieves stress, improves your writing, and inspires you. Overall journalling helps you mentally, I can not stress this enough but looking after yourself mentally is REALLY important.

4. Fixing your sleep schedule

As tempting as it is to stay up all night and binge Netflix shows it's not exactly healthy. Your body requires a set amount of sleep to function. so if you're planning on actually being attentive at work or school tomorrow I suggest at least 8 hours.

5. Limiting screentime before bed

I'm not gonna tell you to delete all your social media because no matter how many times someone tells me I should do that I never really consider it. But limiting screentime before bed, I will suggest. The blue light radiating off our screens keeps us awake. I wake up in the middle of the night and check my notifications, text a few people back and head off to bed. I can't sleep for another half hour to an hour cause my brain is wide awake. just take my advice on this one, it’s painful lying in bed debating whether to keep trying to sleep or just mindlessly scroll through Pinterest.
